Apple and Cinnamon Breakfast Bar

Serves 9

This is another Joe Wicks recipe which is great for a healthy and filling breakfast on the run.

Ingredients
185g rolled oats
65g coconut flour
85g vanilla protein powder
50g flaxseed
225g pitted dates roughly chopped
205g unsweetened apple sauce
85g almond butter
65g coconut oil melted
75ml boiling water
185g raisins
2 apples grated skin on
2 tbsps ground cinnamon

Method
Preheat the oven to 180Β°C.
Line a slice tin with wax paper
In a large bowl add the oats, flaxseed, coconut flour and protein powder.
Mix to combine.
Into a blender add the coconut oil, dates, boiling water, almond butter and apple sauce and blitz until smooth.
Pour into the dry ingredients and stir to combine thoroughly. Add the grated apples and raisins.
Press the mix into the prepared tin (I used my hands to level it) and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven, leave to cool in the tray and then slice into 9 equal pieces (yes I measured itπŸ˜‚)
Wrap in cling film and store in the fridge.
