Apple and Cranberry Chutney

700g granny smith apples, peeled, cored and chopped
250g cranberries, fresh or frozen
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp coriander
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp salt
350ml apple cider vinegar
200g granulated sugar

Place everything in a large saucepan and bring to the boil, stir to combine then reduce to a low simmer for approximately 50 minutes until the chutney has thickened. Leave to cool then place in airtight, sterilised jars.

I doubled the recipe as it is great for gifting around Christmas. Amazing with cold meats and cheeses.
